The how is easy.

WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY?
Psychotherapy is talk therapy using different methodologies. It is used to assist in overcoming emotional difficulties or psychiatric disorders. Psychologist help to understand and explore feelings as well as empowering with skills to better manage emotions. In certain cases; psychosis,
dementia etc., there is a team of specialists
who work together for the best outcome.
Samantha utilises an integrated approach of
psychodynamic, systemic, behavioural,
cognitive & gestalt approaches depending on
the individual, the assessment & goals of
therapy.

INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY:
Individual therapy is a process through which patients work one-on-one with Samantha—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—
to explore feelings, thinking, or behaviours, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and
others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

COUPLES PSYCHOTHERAPY:
Couples working together in a therapeutic process to work through conflict, enhance communication & intimacy, to heal each other to better individuals for themselves & their partners.

FAMILY PSYCHOTHERAPY:
The family provides the basic interpersonal/relationship skills as well as resilience skills. Generational patterns, family conflict, poor
skills, trauma or living with someone with a mental illness, can create chaos in the home. Samantha explores the patterns with the family members involved, to attain healthier patterns of communication, functioning and coping.
